Grief Service Offerings

What does grief have to do with therapy?

EVERYTHING!! Loss and pain are universal, and there is nothing we can do to avoid it. However, we can take steps to understand it better, explore, and work through the complicated process that life brings. Not only is Grief Transformation a service offered to individuals; but over the past several years; TBE Global has effectively launched several successful Grief Transformation groups with congregations and leaders.

What makes you think grief covers everything?

TBE therapist have coined Grief is like the "gatekeeper". You have to go through it in order to get to the door(s) you're really trying to get to. Anytime we've grown an emotional attachment to an area of life that has changed we must acknowledge the pain, fear, denial, guilt, shame, betrayal, relief, acceptance, etc., that may come along with it. If not we run the risk of suppressing the grief; which opens the door to the disruption of life on the terms of your unacknowledged emotions not yours. Simply put, one day you wake up and your emotions are in control of you, and you no longer in control of them.

Grief Services Offered:

  • Grief Transformation Groups (offered to congregations and congregational leaders)

  • Individual Grief Recovery Sessions (must commit to 7 weeks)

  • Grief Recovery Groups (must commit to 8 weeks and there is a flat rate)

What does addressing my grief help me do?

Addressing your grief can help you put legs to your pain. Finally, seeing the pain for what it is. Acknowledging it, and taking the necessary steps to process through it. Looking your pain in the face can empower you to make the necessary life adjustments to get "unstuck". "Most often than not you have to touch the pain to heal the pain"- Verily Harris-Harper~ LPC, NCC
